A production designer at Hallmark Cards, I was previously a designer for Pan Macmillan, Momentum, and Amazon publishing. Specializing in the publishing industry, I was commended as an illustrator by WRITER'S DIGEST, named Artist of the Month by the Society of Children's Writers and Artists, and was a finalist for the Eric Hoffer (Da Vinci Eye) Award for superior cover design. My clients included Bookmasters, February Partners, McAllister PR, Nancy Berland PR, Greenleaf Group LLC, Friday Project, PageWorks, Tin House, and CBS Studios (THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL series.) And Ali Smith Photography for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Bloomsbury, and Harper Collins.
Published by Penguin Random House, my novel, COVER THE BUTTER, was an Independent Booksellers' Pick, won an Audiofile Magazine award, and was nominated for a Quills Award. Both an Irish and British citizen, I now live in Missouri with my husband. We share five adult sons, two labradors, two cockatiels, and four tanks of freshwater fish.
